Eksplorasi Pelayanan Kesehatan pada Ibu Hamil Antenatal Care di Posyandu Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Amonggedo Baru
Abstract
Maternal health services are essential in reducing maternal and infant mortality rates, yet challenges remain, especially in areas with limited access. Community-based health posts (Posyandu) play a strategic role in bringing services closer to the community, increasing ANC visits, and enabling early detection of pregnancy risks through active health cadres. This study, conducted in Puasana Village under the jurisdiction of Amonggedo Baru Health Center, aims to assess Posyandu’s contribution to strengthening maternal and child health services. Using a descriptive quantitative method, the study involved 67 pregnant women and found that ANC services at Posyandu were well-organized and consistent, with regular schedules, routine check-ups, availability of iron tablets, and friendly, informative staff. The services were easily accessible, evenly distributed, timely, and free of charge. Overall, ANC services in this area demonstrate good quality and can serve as a community-level service model.
